A majority of America's economic decisions are based on a concept called "free enterprise", which is an economic system characterized by private or corporate ownership of capital goods. Investments are determined by private decision rather than by state control. Our country is set apart from the rest of the world because we hold a high importance to profit motive, and it encourages people and organizations to improve their material well-being. In a free enterprise, business owners decide their own activity and how they will be ran so they can operate in order to maximize their profits. We also embrace open opportunity in the marketplace, making it a top priority to accept different people and companies in order to ensure economic mobility. Unlike some countries, the United States has a commitment to legal equality. Women and minorities, just like any other person, are not to be excluded from competing in the marketplace. Competition helps us reach the summit of economic prosperity, so the more the merrier!
Our goal is to always make public interest our best interest. No voice should be left unheard!
